On Saturday August 11th, you are invited to join your fellow Trillium members in a day tour/outing working our way to St. Jacobs village north of Kitchener/Waterloo. There we will be able to enjoy the quaint culture of this tourist location, do a little shopping for those who are into that sort of thing and partake in some of the local cuisine. There are also several ice cream options available. And there is a nature trail which follows the Conestogo River to the dam for those who like to hike, with historical references along the trail . Just down the road from the village heading back towards Kitchener/Waterloo is the Farmers Market, Flee Market and Antique stores, Retail outlet mall, and more.
We will be departing the Tim Horton’s at 88 Market Dr., In Milton at Approx. 9:30 AM. On the way there we will be stopping at one of our club partners “Forbes Mazda” in Waterloo to show our support of their operation. We will try to be there approx. by 11:00 AM. Photos may be taken for the local paper so let’s keep those cars clean. After which we will take the short trip up to St. Jacobs., where we will spend the balance of the day.
I hope you will be able to come out and join us and that the weather continues to be on our side.
For those who are interested, GPX files of the routes will be available on the web site shortly. One from Milton to Mazda and another from Mazda to St. Jacobs.
