Complete Event Description:
A full day tour together with the members of Miatas of Muskoka.
Please try and arrive at the Gravenhurst Wharf (1050 Bay St. (Hwy 169)) by 10:00 am for a pre-tour meeting, where we will organize into driving groups and confirm numbers and food preferences for the end-of-tour BBQ - departure from the Wharf will be at 10:30 sharp, rain or shine.
The tour will be leaving from the Gravenhurst Wharf and we'll travel via the "colourful" back roads to the town of Rosseau and down Peninsula Rd. (very well known & liked by all) to The Rock Golf Club for a buffet lunch featuring Assorted Salads, Finger Desserts and Grilled Chicken Breast, Hamburger or Sausage right off the grill. The price for the Buffet will be $14.95 per person before tax and service charge.
After lunch we will motor over to Abbey's Bake House on the shores of Lake Rosseau for a brief visit before travelling north again to Rosseau. Heading west the group will turn north on Tally Ho Rd. to Hwy 518 and travel east to Huntsville where Lorraine Blondin and Richard Rutsch will be hosting an end of tour barbecue (corn, hot dogs and hamburgers) at their Chalet at 1588 Hidden Valley Road, Huntsville. Parking at the chalet is not an issue as they have an overflow parking lot for the ski hill across the road from the chalet.
Also, for those who want to relax and not worry about the drive home that evening, the Hidden Valley Resort is only a few hundred feet away from Richard and Lorraine's place. Call them for reservations for the evening of Sept 30 at 1-800-465-4171.
