Complete Event Description:
What was it that I said last month? Something like the west has normal twisties, but we have what I like to call: "vertical twisties". Then something about roller-coaster hills.
Again, we'll start at the best dinner spot around: Mexicano! at Taunton & Solina.
Four food trucks: Mexican, Greek, Fries & burgers, and ice cream, of course. Show up early, and you get to eat more!
All-told, it'll be approximately 2 hours, and we'll end up in Peterborough for some of our favourite Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream -- and they have a drive through!
This is going to be one of the few tours that I don't get a chance to fully rehearse in-advance. So I've stitched together a bunch of my favourites, but who knows how long it'll take, and if I've correctly dodged all of the gravel -- I'm working off of 4-year old maps, because I'm too cheap to buy new ones, and because I haven't the foggiest notion of how to install them.
1975 Taunton Rd E,
Pay a chef, and a kitchen, and that's it. We've got Ice cream, greek, fries, burgers, chicken fingers, pogos, poutine, and hot dogs. But the best of the best is Mexicano -- the freshest mexican food around -- Mario's mother comes up from Mexico to cook for the summer months!
Coming from the 401? Take exit 425 Courtice Rd, and head north ten minutes until it ends. Turn right onto Taunton Rd. It'll be on your right in seconds.
