Complete Event Description:
Sure, the west has normal twisties, but we have what I like to call: "vertical twisties". Yup, we've got roller-coaster hills!
We'll start at the best dinner spot around: Mexicano! at Taunton & Solina.
Four food trucks: Mexican, Greek, Fries & burgers, and ice cream, of course. Show up early, and you get to eat more! Pace yourself though, there are no bathrooms at the food trucks. You'll need to hold it until the bio break -- thirty minutes later.
I've found some truly exquisite country roads, with views to die for. Bring your camera, and your camera-man. Got a drone? I did during the rehearsal!
We'll go out of our way to get to the middle of no where, more than once.
All-told, it'll be approximately 2 hours, including the bio break at White Feather. We'll end up at the Tim Horton's at Taunton & Harmony.
Now here's the kicker. Some of these roads are really super extra creepy after dark. So we might run this route again next month, after the sun's gone done. The roads look wildly different in the pitch, and you'll be amazed at how little your lights illuminate the trees. So you don't want to miss this day-time rehearsal of what may become the creepiest drive ever!
1975 Taunton Rd E,
Pay a chef, and a kitchen, and that's it. We've got Ice cream, greek, fries, burgers, chicken fingers, pogos, poutine, and hot dogs. But the best of the best is Mexicano -- the freshest mexican food around -- Mario's mother comes up from Mexico to cook for the summer months!
Coming from the 401? Take exit 425 Courtice Rd, and head north ten minutes until it ends. Turn right onto Taunton Rd. It'll be on your right in seconds.
