Complete Event Description:
Founded in 1995, The Driftwood Theatre Group is Ontario's first and longest-running outdoor touring theatre tradition. Driftwood
re-defines the classics through exploration of new styles and
interpretations of the world's greatest plays, even as we invest in the
creation of today's voices in Canadian Theatre--the classics of tomorrow. Working with the best emerging and established artists today,
Driftwood celebrates the work of William Shakespeare and other classics
through its annual Bard's Bus Tour, touring to parks and heritage sites and focusing on communities with little or no access to professional theatre.
This performance of 'The Tempest' takes place at Mississauga's Bradley Museum, located in a park. This is an outdoor performance, so stay tuned for schedule updates in case of inclement weather.
