This year's 200 km route will have you touring some excellent roads with great scenery and quaint towns. The route travels from the Kitchener-Doon area, through St. George, Ayr, Cambridge, Maryhill, Conestogo & Center Wellington, ending up in Guelph. Once again, we stop at the century old Brown Dog Cafe, but new this year is the Argyle Arms in Cambridge for lunch. The finish point offers excellent gelato and other goodies. Last year's winners received some lovely decorative plates acknowledging the top finishers in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Arrangements have been made to provide similar trophies for this year's event.
For various reasons, including checkpoint availability and final destination capacity, the rally will be limited to a maximum of 15 cars. I urge our members to come on out and give rallying a try. The instructions will be simple and you don't have to get involved in the timing to just have fun driving the route.
Please register your intention to compete by June 15 - my contact details are firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 519-824-4584 in the evening.
