Sunday, August 12th Monthly Club meeting at 39th Annual Whitchurch-Stouffville Classic car Show – held at the Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum and Community Centre, at 14732 Woodbine Avenue, Gormley. The Club Meeting is from 10-12 noon, and we are invited to stay for the rest of the show, which runs to 4 pm.
Please remember – this year, if you want to park on the car show grounds, your car will be considered to be “on display”, and you should be prepared to stay until the show closes around 4 pm. Several club members will have their cars on display, including President Gary Svoboda, VP Pat Sullivan, and Meeting Director Craig Kingsley – and we encourage all other Trillium members to stay for the day also. Let’s show the public what a fantastic sports car the MX-5 Miata is!! Also, remember that YOU ARE DRIVING A FUTURE CLASSIC – make sure that you bring a clean car! J
In that case, you can stay and enjoy the afternoon festivities, including the many, many classic cars, the vendors, lunch at the Tea Room restaurant and/or the outdoor barbecue, the heritage building/Museum and of course the music. If you love classic cars, this is an annual event not to be missed!!!
The club will reimburse your entry fees. If you want to stay for the club meeting only, please park in visitors parking outside the show grounds, and walk in. Also, please remember to bring your own folding chairs.
Lastly, in case of rain, WE WILL STILL MEET IN THE PUBLIC PARKING LOT for a brief meeting and a subsequent mystery tour.
